MDDS St. Patrick's Day Access to Care Float
Saturday, March 11, 2017
Celebrating its 128th year, the Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade is a time-honored tradition for our community that draws upwards of 200,000 attendees. In 2016, MDDS saw this as an opportunity to provide information on access to care to a large number of people. Staff and volunteers decorated a float and distributed over 3,500 toothbrushes and toothpaste with low income resource information along the parade route. The Community Outreach & Public Relations Committee is looking forward to making this an annual event for the Society.
