DESCRIPTION:HANDS-ON The Chairside Assistant’s Role with Dental Implants\nPresented by Dr. Brian Butler and Dr. Dennis Waguespack \nParticipate in sessions with two different implant systems: Straumann and Nobel Biocare.  Learn the components necessary for implant treatment. Discuss the different components of the implant flow for restorations and get hands-on practice with all necessary components. Review the familiarity between systems which expands your knowledge to work with different systems. \nObjectives\n1. Learn the implant parts necessary for each step\n2. Identify the implant parts for three different implant systems\n3. Learn the similarities of the implant parts between different systems\n4. Identify parts to order for each step\n5. Become familiar with parts needed for provisional restorations\, impressions\, lab components and final restorations\n6. Identify necessary components for locator components \nDr. Brian Butler and Dr. Dennis Waguespack earned their DDS degrees\, certificates in prosthodontics and MS degrees from Baylor College of Dentistry. Refunds will not be given for cancellations after the cancellation deadline. \nMWDI Parking Information\nFor your convenience\, we have free parking in two retail garages within the Beauvallon building (east-facing side). Both garages are accessed from Lincoln Street between 9th and 10th Avenues. Parking in these garages is available on a first-come\, first-served basis. ** If you are attending a large course/event at the MWDI\, we recommend arriving early in case the garages fill and alternative parking must be secured. Be aware – the garages come up quickly after you cross 9th Avenue and both have left lane entrances. All numbered spaces within both retail parking garages (without “Reserved” signs) are available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Do not park in any spaces with a red sign that says “Matrix” or “KCNC.” Do not park in the residential parking. Residential garages are at the back of the retail garages. The north and south garages are not connected. Both have open parking available.
