DESCRIPTION:Top 10 Most Common OSHA & Infection Control Violations in the Dental Practice\nPresented by Alyssa Aberle\, MBA\, RDH\, CDIPC \nMany dental teams fear the day they may have an OSHA or Dental Board inspection. Compliance with OSHA\, CDC guidelines\, and Dental Board rules and regulations are manageable with the right systems in place. In this course\, we’ll discuss the most common violations that are cited by both OSHA and the Colorado Dental Board and how practices can avoid these common mistakes. \nObjectives: \n\nEstablish resources for dental teams to learn and understand OSHA standards\, CDC guidelines\, and dental board rules and regulations\nReview common violations seen by the Colorado Dental Board and OSHA when inspecting dental practices\nDiscuss how offices can implement systems to educate their dental teams\, practice more efficiently\, and ensure patient safety\n\nMs. Alyssa Aberle is a  graduate of the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine’s dental hygiene program. Alyssa has spent her dental hygiene career working with several local nonprofit organizations. She has a Certificate in Dental Infection Prevention and Control (CDIPC) and works with dental teams to provide annual OSHA and infection control training\, audit preparation\, and consulting to help implement better infection prevention practices for their patients.
