The COVID-19 pandemic has created a shortage of personal protective equipment at hospitals for those on the front lines treating the infected as well as other medical patients. If you have any additional supplies you can spare, below are locations that are in need. We will continue to update this page as MDDS receives requests. Remember we are all in this together and will come out stronger! 

Denver Health

Supplies needed:

  • Masks (of ANY LEVEL) are needed immediately
  • Gloves
  • Disinfecting wipes
  • Hand sanitizer

Drop-Off Instructions: DO NOT drop off at Denver Health.

Arrange donation pick-up in the metro area by calling Kathryn at 303-356-7340.

Other Information: Your donation will be tax deductible as a donation to the Denver Health Foundation. Please email your contact information and the value of your donation to Linda Ford, Denver Health Foundation executive director, at linda.ford@dhha.org.

University of Colorado Health

Supplies needed:

  • Yellow masks
  • Isolation gowns
  • N-95 masks
  • Booties

Drop-Off Instructions: Please contact Patty Waters at (720) 553-3000 to arrange drop-off or pick-up of donations. 

 

City of Denver

Supplies needed:

  • Surgical masks
  • N-95 masks
  • Gowns
  • Gloves
  • Face-shields

Drop-Off Instructions: Parks & Recreation Maintenance Building, 4495 North Jason St, Denver, CO 80211
Monday through Friday between 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

ABOUT MDDS

The Metro Denver Dental Society is a not-for-profit component society of the American Dental Association and the Colorado Dental Association.

The MDDS is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.
