Many dental teams fear the day they may have an OSHA or Dental Board inspection. Compliance with OSHA, CDC guidelines, and Dental Board rules and regulations is manageable with the right systems in place. In this webinar, we’ll discuss the most common violations cited by both OSHA and the Colorado Dental Board and how practices can avoid these common mistakes.
Objectives:
- Establish resources for dental teams to learn and understand OSHA standards, CDC guidelines and dental board rules and regulations
- Review common violations seen by the Colorado Dental Board and OSHA when inspecting dental practices
- Discuss how offices can implement systems to educate their dental teams, practice more efficiently and ensure patient safety
Ms. Alyssa Aberle is a Colorado dental hygienist. She has collaborated with numerous nonprofit and community health organizations, including Kids In Need of Dentistry (KIND), Salud Family Health Centers, the Colorado Orthodontic Foundation (COF), STRIDE Community Health Center (formerly MCPN), and most recently, Deserving Dental. Today, Alyssa works in a mobile dental program, providing essential oral health services to homeless shelters and residential treatment facilities.
