PT Time Registered Dental Hygienist
Join our Patient-Focused Private Practice!
We are seeking a friendly, skilled and compassionate Part Time RDH to join our well-established private dental practice in SE Denver off of I-25 and Hampden. For more than 30 years, our office has built lasting relationships with generations of patients by providing exceptional care in a welcoming, low-stress environment. This position offers the opportunity to become one of two hygienists in our practice while working closely with a dedicated doctor and experienced staff that values quality patient care, professionalism and teamwork.
This part-time position is available to start, Tuesday, Sept. 8th, but can be available sooner for the right candidate.
PT Schedule:
Tuesday – Thursday from 7AM to 4PM. Dedicated one hour lunch, weekly paid staff meeting or prep hour every Thursday from 1PM -2PM
What You’ll Love About Our Practice:
Supportive, team-oriented atmosphere. Natural light in every operatory. 90-minute new patient appointments (30Min with dentist and 60 min with hygiene). 60-minute prophy and periodontal maintenance appointments. Our office dog, Eddy the Golden Retriever, who makes everyday a little brighter.
Technology and Equipment:
Our office is equipped with Eagle soft, Schick, Dexis CBCT/Pano, Dexis digital scanner, IO Cameras, Cavitron, Ultrasonic scaling systems. Premier Aero Pro cordless prophy handpieces.
Responsibilities:
Manage a single hygiene column. Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and screenings. Update patient health history and periodontal chart annually. Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health and preventive care. Provide prophylaxis, scaling and root planing and periodontal maintenance. Administer local and/or topical anesthesia for SRP patients or sensitive patients. Take digital radiographs and intraoral images. Apply fluoride varnish. Collaborate with the dentist to develop and present treatment plans. Accurately document clinical findings and treatment recommendations. Schedule re-care appointments to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications: Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Licensed Registered Dental Hygienist in Colorado. BLS/CPR certification. Excellent communication and patient education skills. Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. Experience with Eagle soft preferred but not required.
Work Experience:
Prefer at least 1 year of clinical practice

Compensation and Part-Time Benefits:
$55.-$65./hr, negotiable depending on experience. BLS/CPR Training (upcoming renewal in October 2026). Ticket to annual Rocky Mountain Dental Convention (upcoming Jan 21-23, 2027)
