HANDS-ON The A-Z Guide for Same-Day Restorations
Presented by Dr. Justin Chi
Advancements in technology have brought a wave of digital solutions from the laboratory to the clinical environment. With intraoral scanners and new milling capabilities, there has never been a greater opportunity for dentists to control the restorative process while boosting productivity and maximizing patient comfort and convenience. This course offers hands-on introduction to these technologies and how to best integrate them into the modern dental practice.
1. Learn how to use intraoral scanners to acquire digital impressions
2. Utilize chairside software to identify margins and create functional and esthetic designs
3. Review finishing and delivery options for various chairside materials
Dr. Justin Chi joined Glidewell Laboratories in 2015 after graduating from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Prior to that, Dr. Chi received his Bachelor of Science degree in dental laboratory technology from the LSU School of Dentistry, and earned his CDT in crown and bridge in 2007. While working at E4D Technologies as a dental technician and clinical educator from 2007–2011, he aided in the development of new-user documentation, and led basic and advanced training seminars for dental professionals both locally and abroad.

MWDI Parking Information
For your convenience, we have free parking in two retail garages within the Beauvallon building (east-facing side). Both garages are accessed from Lincoln Street between 9th and 10th Avenues. Parking in these garages is available on a first-come, first-served basis. **If you are attending a large course/event at the MWDI, we recommend arriving early in case the garages fill and alternative parking must be secured. Be aware – the garages come up quickly after you cross 9th Avenue and both have left lane entrances. All numbered spaces within both retail parking garages (without “Reserved” signs) are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Do not park in any spaces with a red sign that says “Matrix” or “KCNC.” Do not park in the residential parking. Residential garages are at the back of the retail garages. The north and south garages are not connected. Both have open parking available. See link for more information.
