In March 2025, Colleen Lampron became KIND’s Executive Director. With over 25 years in oral health access and public health, she is committed to translating knowledge into practice for healthier, happier lives. Throughout her career, Colleen has made significant contributions to the field, including:

• Serving as the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) Executive Director and Quality Improvement and Innovation Consultant, where she helped Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) improve sealant rates by 10%, implement quality improvement dashboards, and foster collaboration between medical and dental professionals to enhance outcomes for patients with diabetes. 
• Implementing Colorado’s SMILES Dental Project, a virtual dental home initiative that delivered over 11,000 patient visits to unserved populations.
• Leading the design and implementation of Colorado’s Cavity Free at Three initiative.
• Spearheading the San Francisco Department of Public Health Dental Transformation Initiative Local Dental Pilot Project, which united federally qualified health centers and private practices to improve the dental delivery system for children aged 0-5.

Colleen is trained as an Institute for Healthcare Improvement Breakthrough Series Collaborative Director and Coach. She holds a Master’s in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from West Chester University. Colleen leverages her public health education and quality improvement expertise to advance health and healthcare nationwide.
