More and more offices across the country are incorporating lasers into daily hygiene workflow. Learn how lasers can benefit your patients and your practice by reducing pain, reducing inflammation and accelerating healing. Laser Bacterial Reduction (LBR) treatment is the most sought after and frequently performed procedure that targets and destroys harmful bacteria that cause inflammation and periodontal disease. Through step-by-step learning along with hands-on training, learn the ins and outs of performing this treatment and take your hygiene therapy and patient care to a whole new level.
Sixty percent of patients across the world suffer from herpes simplex virus which can cause painful herpetic cold sore lesions on the lip. Leave this course understanding how to use a diode laser to break down this virus, immediately take your patients out of pain and prevent the recurrence of these unpleasant and miserable lesions.
In this interactive course, each attendee will receive one-on-one hands-on training and leave feeling confident on how to effectively use lasers pre-procedurally to target and destroy bacteria, as well as heal herpetic and aphthous ulcer lesions.

Ms. Joy Raskie has been practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Colorado since 2003. Currently, she is the Director of Education and CEO at Advanced Dental Hygiene, a company that specializes in hands-on dental laser education. Ms. Raskie holds numerous laser degrees including an advanced proficiency in laser dentistry. She is a lecturer, conducts live and online laser training courses and does in-office laser consulting.

MWDI Parking Information For your convenience, we have free parking in two retail garages within the Beauvallon building (east-facing side). Both garages are accessed from Lincoln Street between 9th and 10th Avenues. Parking in these garages is available on a first-come, first-served basis. ** If you are attending a large course/event at the MWDI, we recommend arriving early in case the garages fill and alternative parking must be secured. Be aware – The garages come up quickly after you cross 9th Avenue and both have left lane entrances. All numbered spaces within both retail parking garages (without “Reserved” signs) are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Do not park in any spaces marked “KCNC.” Do not park in the residential parking. Residential garages are at the back of the retail garages. The north and south garages are not connected.
